Today was a perfect day. Its a national holiday so everyone (except McDonald's Employees) has the day off. I spent mine doing absolutely nothing and it was fantastic! This morning we slept in till 9! Chris and I toured two of our neighbours houses; its amazing what happens when you talk to your neighbours. Chris joined me on a run and I was instantly reminded of the reason why we usually don't run together: he's really fast. His slow pace is like my fast pace. Moral of that story is do your fast runs with your husband and let your husband do his slow easy runs with you. I also spent two hours of my day on Pinterest and was briefly inspired to do some decorating/cooking. We went to the beach today and found out that it has turned into a public cesspool. Gross! And then tonight I fell in LOVE. Chris and I walked to Pine Dairy Bar and while I was in the midst of ordering my classic single scoop, peanut butter chocolate ice cream cone I tasted my friends chocolate coconut soft serve and my life hasn't been the same since. Ask Chris, its all I talked about on the walk home. Great day!
